Wynton Marsalis is a world-renowned trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and passionate advocate for American culture. As Managing and Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Director of Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School, he has significantly influenced the global appreciation of jazz. Marsalis has released 127 recordings since his debut in 1982, earning countless accolades and cementing his status as a cultural icon.

A tireless educator and mentor, Marsalis has nurtured generations of musicians who carry forward the rich legacy of jazz. Known for his vibrant performances in prestigious concert halls and intimate clubs alike, he has rekindled international interest in jazz through his advocacy, books, curricula, and public speaking.
