ALAN CUMMING brought his new show, UNCUT to this one-night only fundraising SOLD OUT event for the Stissing Center of Arts & Culture on September 28th, 2024
Alan Cumming is beyond eclectic. The Scottish-American polymath has performed in concert halls across the globe, including the Sydney Opera House, the London Palladium, the Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall. He's played God, the Devil, Hitler, the Pope, a teleporting superhero, Hamlet, all the parts in Macbeth, and the Emcee in Cabaret in the West End and on Broadway. His most recent projects include creating a dance theatre piece about the Scottish bard Robert Burns, lip-synching the protagonist in a documentary, directing a podcast series about a sperm bank heist, playing a gangster opposite Liam Neason in a Neil Jordan film, curating a cabaret festival in Australia and recording a duet with a Gaelic rapper. Perhaps not surprisingly, Time Magazine called him one of the three most fun people in show business (the others were Cher and Stanley Tucci!) Spend an intimate evening with a truly remarkable performer.

All ticket holders were invited to a pre-show reception - under a tent - with gourmet hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, all centered around the messaging of our Capital Campaign to complete the much needed and essential renovations and construction work on our historic building.

Featuring the Hudson Valley’s top works of art and design, theatre tickets, in-home musical performances, overnight stays, portrait photography sessions and more... Stissing Center Silent Auction was a well supported initiative that contributed to our community goals.

Immediately following Mr. Cumming's performance of UNCUT, was a private Meet & Greet reception for VIP Guests! This reception featured more amazing foods, an open bar, and photographs with Alan.
