Pine Plains, NY:  “The Stissing Center is proud to announce that world-renowned pianist and conductor, Benjamin Hochman will perform at The Stissing Center as part of their summertime, live-streaming chamber music series, Live! From The Stissing Center. This unique event joins Mr. Hochman’s piano artistry with the creative visual eye of photographer/environmental activist, J Henry Fair, to produce a one-of-a-kind musical and visual experience. The event will live-stream this Saturday, July 25 at 4:30 pm on The Stissing Center’s website, https://thestissingcenter.org/benjamin-hochman/ and on their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/thestissingcenter. The concert will also be available post live-stream.

Curator/Music Director, Shuhui (Sophia) Zhou, has gathered these talents to create another stunning evening of music. “Benjamin Hochman is a rare talent, and we are honored to have him play at The Stissing Center,” Zhou said. “He has performed all over the world. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Israel, Prague…and now Pine Plains.”

“As if having Mr. Hochman grace our stage by performing isn’t enough, we have the extra treat of having J Henry Fair direct the live-stream,” said The Stissing Center’s Executive Director, Brian Keeler. “Since streaming concerts is the present new normal, we wanted to do something different visually, and Henry is just the person to deliver. He has long wanted to do a project with Benjamin and this event has given them the perfect opportunity to collaborate.

“And, with the amazing acoustics of The Stissing Center as a backdrop, the music of Brahms and Schubert will be captured by Ryan McCullough at Windowpane Audio. Be sure to wear headphones or ear-pods if possible,” Keeler added.
